Cost: $56/instruction + $15/materials
Use paper and fabric scraps to create and abstract landscape collage. This class is an opportunity to explore mixed media: collage, color, composition and encaustic wax (as a means of sealing your work). Abstracted landscapes are a great way to explore mixed media without needing past experience. If landscapes are not your thing, you are welcome to create any subject matter you wish: flowers, city scape, figures, still life etc. Sheri will provide collage papers and fabrics, paints, encaustic wax, as well as art boards and paper, but feel free to bring anything from home you would like to use in your work.
