This class takes place at the instructor's studio in Greenbluff.
This is an intro and intermediate level class where students will learn hand-building techniques to create functional forms. The techniques include pinch pots, and slab work using molds, templates and more. Students will learn a variety of interesting ways to embellish their pieces, create designs and alter forms in the clay. Students will also learn design techniques through glaze application.
Please bring an apron to protect your clothing, bring lunch and something to drink (Fridge is available for food and drink storage if needed). Some basic pottery tools will be available to borrow during class hours, but bring any that you may own..
- Students' finished (fired) work will be available for pickup at the Spokane Art School or Crimson Barn Creations within two weeks after final class meeting time.
