This class takes place at the instructor's studio in Greenbluff.


This is an intro to intermediate level workshop where students will work in clay learning the process of wheel-throwing. Demonstrations will include creating a variety of cups, tumblers, and bowls. Students will learn interesting ways to alter forms, create designs in the clay and proper glaze application.


Please bring an apron to protect your clothing, bring lunch and something to drink (Fridge is available for food and drink storage if needed). Basic pottery tools will be available to borrow during workshop hours, but bring any that you may have.


  • Students finished (fired) work will be available for pickup at the Spokane Art School or Crimson Barn Creations within two weeks after final class meeting time.
