Chunky Knit Blanket: Bring Your Own Yarn

During this one-of-a-kind event, we will guide you step-by-step through hand-knitting a warm, soft, chunky knit blanket. No needles or knitting experience is required! YARN WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR THIS CLASS, so please bring your own! We recommend 4 skeins of chunky chenille yarn for a 40”x 50” throw blanket. For larger blankets, 5-6 skeins can be used, but keep in mind you are unlikely to finish during the allotted class time. YARN SIZE: Chunky Chenille Jumbo 7 or larger, should be the width of your thumb or wider. Age Requirement: While we do have kid’s specific classes for our younger audiences that are noted as “Family Days” on our calendar, our regular public classes such as this one require all guests to be at least 16 years old.
