Taste of Código • Tequila Class & Tasting

Previously a nameless secret shared only amongst a select group of the most respected families in Mexico, Código 1530 has taken 5 generations of perfected distilling and produced an exquisite lineup of tequila expressions. This incredible tequila distillery has decided to share their heritage and uniquely crafted recipe with the world and you'll have the opportunity to taste their 4 primary expressions through a special tequila class & tasting journey at The Club at Prairie Falls.

Taste of Código will take place in the upstairs event room with doors opening at 5:30pm and the tasting presentation starting shortly after 6pm. We will have rows of tables that will be open seating and have chips & salsa available to start. Shortly after the host begins our Código journey, your shrimp tacos & craft guacamole will be brought out to you to enjoy throughout the tasting. Our agave guide will introduce each expression along with the history of the tequilas and what sets Código 1530 apart from the rest as a one of a kind distillery. Keep a sharp eye - prizes will be handed out if you answer a surprise question correctly!

Once the presentation concludes, each table section will be brought up to the bar one at a time to receive a hands-on lesson on how to create each person's favorite tequila cocktail. While at the bar for your lesson, you'll have the opportunity to order more food and/or drinks.

The perfect pairing.  Fancy a cigar with your tequila? The Presidential Suite balcony will be open for attendees to enjoy cigars during and after the event. Rocky Patel cigars will be available for purchase.

*Cocktail lessons are limited to beginner level drinks as well as the ingredients available & provided by the bartender. Requests for non-tequila cocktail lessons may be accepted, but do not qualify as your 1 included tequila cocktail and will be an additional cost. Drinks are non-transferrable.

*Cigars are not included in your ticket price but will be available for purchase at the event. Cigars are only allowed to be smoked on the Presidential balcony outside.
